Description
Joint Volunteer Initiative between CECI and WUSC: Abstract
This case is based on a process of collaboration between CECI and WUSC that began with initial discussions in 2002 and was formalized throughout 2003. The project would see the two organizations merge their overseas volunteer sending programs into one operational unit. In particular, this case describes how the cultural dimensions of both organizations were addressed in this joint initiative through an exercise of cultural assessment and intense facilitation.
