Description

Congregation of the Sisters of Saint-Aubin: Abstract

The case describes the recruitment process and integration of a director of financial services within a religious community. Its scope extends far beyond the specific context of religious congregations. The difficulties in staffing it illustrates are common to non-profit organizations and SMEs. It examines recruitment difficulties, onboarding and integration of a new recruit and stresses the importance of preparation for the arrival of the new employee, tracking his or her work and understanding the organizational context in which staffing occurs.

Originally in French (three-part case), only the first part has been translated to English.
