UOP – Studies in International Development and Globalization

Series editor: Christina Clark-Kazak

Our bilingual series is the only one in Canada that is exclusively devoted to academic research on international development and globalization. In this extremely varied and innovative intellectual field, we publish manuscripts in the social sciences that focus on North-South relations or the realities of the Global South, particularly those dynamics, concerns and ideas which affect the latter. Topics covered include indigenous issues, gender, environment, migration, global governance, conflict and violence, public policies, economic policies, public health, agriculture, and identity and religious dynamics. We are particularly interested in detailed case studies as well as work informed by cutting-edge theoretical approaches. Authors from the Global South are especially welcome, and distribution agreements ensure that our books have a global presence.
