Monsieur Maxime-Jean Gérin, Président et chef de la direction de FINALTA CAPITAL, est un financier aguerri, reconnu pour sa capacité d’innover. À titre de Premier vice-président, Maxime a contribué à l’essor de TAL GESTION GLOBALE D’ACTIFS, un des plus importants gestionnaires de portefeuilles canadiens avec 56 milliards $ d’actifs sous gestion en 2002 et où il assumait les décisions finales des stratégies de répartition globale de l’actif pour une clientèle de plus de 24 milliards $, ainsi que 5 milliards $ en stratégies de répartition des devises. En 2003, Maxime s’associe au groupe fondateur de FIERA CAPITAL qui voit à son tour ses actifs sous gestion croître de 5 à 22 milliards $ en 3 ans. En partenariat avec FIERA CAPITAL, il fonde ensuite AXIUM INFRASTRUCTURE en 2009, devenue aujourd’hui un leader canadien de l’investissement en infrastructure avec plus de 2 milliard $ d’actifs où il agit toujours à titre de Vice-président du conseil. Maxime entreprend par la suite de financer l’innovation au Canada et fonde FINALTA CAPITAL pour offrir le financement des crédits d’impôt à l’investissement pour la recherche scientifique et le développement expérimental, pour le développement des affaires électroniques et la production de titres multimédia, spécifiquement à partir des besoins des entrepreneurs. Maxime détient le titre d’analyste financier agréé (CFA), ainsi qu’une maîtrise en finance internationale d’INSEAD à Fontainebleau, France.

Maxime-Jean Gérin, President and CEO of FINALTA CAPITAL, is a seasoned financier, known for his ability to innovate. As First Vice-President, Maxime has contributed to the rapid expansion of TAL GLOBAL ASSET MANAGEMENT, a leading Canadian portfolio management company with over $56 billion in assets under management in 2002, where he assumed final decisions for global asset allocation strategies for more than $24 billion in client assets and more than $5 billion in currency allocation strategies. In 2003, Maxime joined the founding group of FIERA CAPITAL which saw its assets under management grow from $5 billion to $22 billion in three years. In partnership with FIERA CAPITAL, he then founded AXIUM INFRASTRUCTURE in 2009, which has now become a Canadian leader in infrastructure investment with more than $2 billion in assets, and where he still serves as Vice-Chairman. Maxime then undertakes to accelerate innovation in Canada and founds FINALTA CAPITAL to provide investment tax credit financing for scientific research and experimental development, for the development of eBusiness activities and the production of multimedia titles, specifically based on the needs of entrepreneurs. Maxime holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a Master’s in Business Administration in International Finance from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
