Angela Okune is a doctoral candidate in the anthropology department at the University of California – Irvine, where she studies data cultures and infrastructures of qualitative research groups working in Kenya in the broader context of equity, knowledge production, and socio-economic development in Africa. From 2010–2015, she was co-founder of the research department at iHub, Nairobi’s innovation hub for the tech community. She has been involved with OCSDNet as a Network Coordinator since its inception in 2014.
