Kalu is at Wits Business School as a Full Professor of Finance, Deputy Head of School, and Director of Master in Finance. He holds PhD and MFn in Finance (Saint Louis, USA). Has been in Higher Education for over 20 years, at major Business Schools such as St John’s University’s Tobin College of Business (New York), Saint Louis University’s Cook Business School (Missouri), Florida A&M University’s School of Business (Florida), Wayne State University’s Business School (Michigan), and UAE University’s Global Leadership & Management Graduate Program (Abu-Dhabi). Has lived/worked in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Develops programs and trains budding experts in Financial Economics, is research-active with over 60 articles/proceedings in top-rate journals such as Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of International Business Studies, Research Policy, Financial Review, International Review of Economics & Finance (IREF), Review of Quantitative Finance & Accounting, Emerging Markets Review, Journal of Development Studies, Journal of Economics & Business (JEB), Review of Development Finance, Economic Modelling (EM), and Applied Economics.
